Build Madrasah & School
Did you know that there are as many as 3 million children in Bangladesh who do not attend school? Another alarming statistic is that 3.45 million children are working
instead of getting an education.
Many are orphaned children who are homeless and live on the streets. But even
children with families are unable to attend school because of poverty or simply
because they have no access. There aren’t any schools in their areas and travelling
daily to the nearest school is impossible. Either because costs are prohibitive, there
are no transport facilities, or the long distances make walking difficult.
Give Children their Right to Education
At Ummah Hands, we build schools in communities where none exist. We identify areas where children are in desperate need of learning. Once built, we assist with employing instructors to run the facility and teach the children. We give them basic education and a real chance at a better future. With your support, we can help children access a fundamental human right that they’re being deprived of – their right to education.
The Prophet (PBUH) said, ‘The best gift a father can provide for a child is

Donate Towards a School and Change Futures
Being educated opens doors to many opportunities. Attending and completing
primary school means a child can further their education into high school and
beyond. This improves their prospects of getting a job, earning an income, and
becoming independent.
An educated person can support themselves and their families and contribute to
society. Through our Build a School Project, we help build independent individuals,
who, in turn, can build resilient communities. With your help. We can empower and
change the lives and futures of needy children.
Build a School and Earn Sadaqah Jariyah
Donating to a school build is Sadaqah Jariyah. A school will educate children for
years to come. And your donation will earn you rewards for as long as its doors are
open, and children are being empowered within its walls.
You may choose to build an entire school or contribute towards a classroom, but
whatever amount you choose to give, you will earn Sadaqah Jariyah rewards for
many years.
The Prophet (PBUH) said, ‘Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases.
[The first is] a person, whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it
righteously; [the second is] the one whom Allah has given wisdom [the Holy
Qur'an] and he acts according to it and teaches it to others.’ (Bukhari)
Project Implementation in Bangladesh
and the UK
Our Build a School Project implementation has a varied rollout based on need. We build schools but also collaborate with other organizations to provide education in underprivileged communities in the UK and Bangladesh. Through our collaborative
projects, we fund children’s school fees, school clothes and the cost of books. In
both countries, we donate towards Islamic and secular education. Your support
could assist local children from families in need, as well as those in poor
communities in Bangladesh.
Your donations are used directly for the project only. Administration and other running expenses are covered by other sponsors and fundraising.

Help us Build Jamiah Darussunnah and Ummah Academy in Jagannathpur Sunamganj, Bangladesh
We have identified an area in Jagannathpur Sunamganj (Bangladesh), that is in
need of a school. The school will be called Jamiah Darussunnah and Ummah
Academy and we need your help to build it. When completed, it will have an initial enrolment of 200 children.
To date, we’ve raised £10000, but our target is £20000 and we need your support.
